Greetings in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ! I would like to invite you to prayerfully consider participating in the Global Leadership Institute. We are looking for pastors with a heart to reach spiritually lost people in their community, nation, and across West and North Africa. We desire to equip pastors with Bible, ministry, and leadership training over a three year period. Each autumn, Global Leadership Institute students will participate in a two-week training modular in both leadership and Biblical foundations. The first week will focus on leadership and ministry foundations with topics on leading self, leading others, and leading organizations/churches. During the course of the year, our students will seek to implement the leadership principles discussed into their particular ministry setting. The second week will focus on Biblical foundations with topics on church history & theology, the Gospels, and Paul’s writings. We are structuring the Global Leadership Institute to have a cohort of twenty five pastors enter the program each year who will journey together through the three year Global Leadership Institute. The first cohort will gather in Bo, Sierra Leone from Monday, October 5th, 2009 through Saturday, October 17th 2009 for training. We will provide food, lodging, and training materials for accepted participants. Students who start in October 2009 will be part of the 2009 Cohort and the dates of training for the three years are as follows: Year One – October 5th to 17th, 2009; Year Two – September 6th to 18th, 2010; Year Three – August 8th to 20th, 2011.
